Three Creative Latinas with a lot of heart
Stella, Jen and Jennie have been friends for over a decade. Connecting as fellow Latinas through college (Stella and Jen both were Jennie's professors at one point and Stella was Jen's professor in undergrad), the three ladies hit it off instantly. Through mutual understanding due to their upbringings, they have seen each other through the ups and downs of life and career. Inspired by their deep, hilarious and at times thought provoking conversations, Stella suggested launching a podcast. With all of their backgrounds in marketing and design, the seed of an idea flourished and became a reality in May of 2025.
At its core, Listen, Mija is like that one tía who gives the best advice but also knows how to make you laugh until you cry. We’re vibrant, insightful, and full of corazón. The podcast is a safe space where listeners feel seen, heard, and celebrated, no matter where they are in their journey. We bring a mix of wisdom, humor, and cultural pride—representing the nuances of being Latinas navigating different stages of life. Think of us as your amigas who keep it real, lift you up, and remind you that you’re never alone in this crazy, beautiful ride.
