Heya, Hola, and What’s up?! I’m the non-Jenny of the group! I’m Stella, the elder of the trio. At 41 years young, I’m navigating life with a coffee in hand and a teenager’s eye-roll right beside me. Recently divorced and in the process of changing my last name and adjusting to living solo, I’m taking things one day at a time.
My Story
As a first-generation Mexican-American, I’m raising two teens who are half-white and half-Mexican—my fierce and stubborn 16-year-old daughter and my sweet, in-the-clouds, 14-year-old son. Neither speak Spanish, but are learning (fingers crossed). Both keep me on my toes, navigating the highs and lows of parenting and all the teenage drama that comes with it. I grew up around O'Hare Airport, so I guess you could say I’ve always been on the move. I do love to travel!
Juggling mom life, work life, personal growth, and the occasional attempt at “cool mom” status (results may vary!), I’m fueled by laughter, resilience, and an endless desire for new adventures. Oh, and did I mention I have a younger, amazing boyfriend? Long-distance, but totally worth it!
I’m a dog lover, having two dogs and a part-time cat (don’t ask), working in business, and one day, I’ll finish writing that book I’ve been dreaming about. Until then, I’m just here, figuring it all out—one chaotic, love-filled day at a time.
Fun fact: I was the Jenny’s college instructor!
